Hey friends, welcome back to another blog. Hope y’all had an amazing week because my weekend was super fun!! Today’s blog is different from the others, I’m going to express my views on “pushing yourself to the limits!!” The ideas/ thoughts in this blog are original as I got them while working out today; this is going to be a short one so enjoy and lemme know your views in the comments section below!!
Okay, so I got this thought while exercising. I was doing 20 pushups and when I was doing the 16th pushup, I told myself that I need to do three more push-ups (after 20) anyhow because I want to increase my consecutive maximum from 20 to 25. But then I realized that this doesn’t happen overnight, and I need to improve/ challenge myself every day every time I do push-ups!! On the other hand, my lazy side told me “Eh, Arnav it's fine if you do only 20, you can try doing 25 tomorrow blah blah blah”. BUT NO, I’ve listened to my lazy side a lot of times in the past and I know it's of no benefit; eventually, I end up regretting that I didn’t do the 3 extra pushups. So today, while doing the set I was clear and certain that I'm going to challenge myself by pushing my body to its limits!! AND YESSSS I DID 23 PUSH-UPS TODAY!!
I felt amazing after the set, not because I did 23 pushups ( I know it’s not a big thing) but because I made that extra effort, I didn’t get distracted, I didn’t give up, I pushed myself, I FORCED myself, I challenged my mind as well as my body and best one “I DEFEATED MY LAZY SELF“!! And I know, if I do this every day success is not far away!!!
